Reading Recovery has provided the students in my Homebase with the confidence, skills, strategies and ability to make significant progress with their reading within a short time frame. The level of progress Reading Recovery achieves is remarkable. The confidence it gives struggling readers is huge. I now have reluctant readers returning after a Reading Recovery session ready to read and share their love of books with others. This is an extremely effective intervention.
